Bye bye Yogi

Sadly Yogi got no better and after consulting with the vet, we decided that it would be kinder to put him to sleep. All his organs were failing, and he hadn't eaten or drank for 3 days. The drip was keeping him fed. That's no way to live, poor thing :(
He was a wonderful cat. A real character and very much loved. We are all devestated and hoping tomorrow will be less tearful. I'm beginning to feel dehydrated from crying and Maya is inconsolable. She hasn't known life without Yogi. He was a kitten when she was born.
We still have Yogi's sister, Viola. She is looking confused. We spent alot of the day giving her attention, and Maya and her fell asleep on the couch together hugging.
Yogi and Viola had a brother too called Zico. He died when they were 2, while I was in Spain on holiday ( I don't know how he died..my poor friend who was cat sitting just found him dead in the garden Though at the time, I had an evil neighbour who hated my cats and I often wonder if he poisoned Zico).
So Viola is the last of my trio of kittens. I'm giving her a big hug before I go to bed tonight. x
