Kerensa talks

She says " I love you" " I want mummy" "bread and butter" " I want water" "drink" and lots of other words..she is a parrot! She is also the physical one. And even though she is thin, she is strong and she beats us all up! Quela has a scratch on her chin..I have bruises on my legs because she digs her toes into me..Maya has no hair left and Marcos got lucky because he had his head shaved..though she has kicked him where it hurts a few times...Of course all of us take this exceedingly well because she is toocute for words and does all her bullying with the cheekiest grin ever...


Quela is becoming more sophisticated. She has started to recognise words..like cat
I am amazed about how much she knows. She is so literal about everything. Tonight at dusk I told her it was night and she waited until it went dark and came and got me and said "Now it is nightime because it is dark"! Or I'll say "you are almost 3" And she says "BUT I'm not 3 yet..I'm 3 in September" and she gets very angry with me for jumping the gun!
I'm happy to say that the swearing phase came and went..so now I no longer hear the 2 year old going "f*ck*n H*ll" twas all my own fault..I admit it!
