the beach where we were (Newgale) was so clean and vast. Not used to so much sand, being from Dorset. Dorset is all pebbles which are great especially when you want to pile them up to make an improvised chair or warm yourself on them...but the sand was a pleasant change. And of course there were lots of surfers at Newgale which Dorset doesn't have.
